About
Hi! I'm Andrea Maldonado, I'm an artist based in Yucatán, Mexico, with a passion for bringing characters and stories to life!I'm currently pursuing a BFA in Digital Animation at Universidad Anahuac Mayab.I currently serve as president of GEA (Animation Students Guild) and had the honor of organizing the 6th and 7th Animation and Visual Effects Congress, "ANFX 2023" and “ANFX 2025” which taught me strong teamwork and leadership skills.I've taken part in:
-Summer Animation Residency.
-Portfolio Development Workshop for Artists and Animators.
-Portfolio Development Workshop in Character Design.
-Portfolio Development Workshop in Visual Storytelling.
By California Institute of the Arts.I completed an internship with HCG Technologies, Virtual Production Academy, where I developed graphic design and marketing skills to enhance the company’s social media presence.Beyond animation, I hold a black belt in Taekwondo, which has taught me discipline, determination and patience.
As well as volunteer at Sanando Patitas pet shelter.I love creating and bringing characters, worlds and stories to life through my art to fuel creativity and imagination, and put a smile on people's faces!
